LTRC reached and surpassed the Match Challenge set forth by Scott Bieler and Kathy Lasher!! Scott and Kathy challenged LTRC to raise half of the remaining funds needed to reach our fundraising goal to Raise Our Roof to Save Our Center. That amount was $37,500 and through the generosity of LTRC's friends and donors, we have surpassed that mark and raised $39,000! We thank Scott and Kathy and all the donors for their support and generosity.

Construction on the new LTRC indoor riding arena was completed in time for our grand re-opening celebration at our 2nd annual Boots & Bling Barn Dance on Saturday, September 19, 2015!  We cannot thank our donors and supporters enough for their generosity in helping us reach our fundraising goal to build this great addition to LTRC!

Hundreds of riders, from war veterans to children with special needs, are all booked to ride at Lothlorien for the season.  There’s just one big problem. All the snow that fell inEast Aurora this past winter has taken a toll on the indoor barn and riding arena. Right now, the indoor arena has been deemed beyond reasonable repair by structural engineers and the indoor cannot be used with 6 inches or more of a snow on the roof.  We HAVE to rebuild this summer because the building cannot survive another severe winter like we just had.

The buildings at Lothlorien have suffered significant damage as snow has begun to melt.  Insurance coverage for the facility is $100,000, a mark we will reach and surpass.  Barn builders have estimated the cost of a new arena and demolition of the existing arena at approximately $275,000. Donations of $60,000 from two large foundations in Western New York have been secured, but we need to raise $115,000 in additional funding to rebuild.

Gifts of any size are most welcome.
